Gutta percha
For the Soft-Core Endodontic Obturator and the One-Step Obturator, CMS Dental manufactures its own pharmaceutical grade gutta percha utilizing raw gutta percha collected from rubber trees. Our gutta percha processing is unique as we are the only company to master the technique of injection moulding gutta percha. That is why we have an unusually high consistency and quality of the final products, with less than 1/10 of a millimetre difference from each gutta percha moulding.Obturators with gutta percha
Our Obturator products Soft-Core and One-Step consist of a radiopaque plastic carrier covered with thermoplastic gutta percha. The Soft-Core and One-Step Endodontic Obturators are all manufactured and packed in Denmark under careful quality control, and every single item is visually inspected before packaging.
Low heat gutta percha
As a new development in our SoftCore products, we offer a new type of obturator, that offers root canal filling made easier. We have reformulated the Gutta Percha to provide a low melting temperature, at only 70o. The lower temperature:
- has no thermal effect on the apical tissue
- needs shorter heating time
- means less thermal shrinkage
