Gutta percha

Gutta percha: For the Soft-Core® Endodontic Obturator and the One-Step™ Obturator, CMS Dental manufactures its own pharmaceutical grade gutta percha utilizing raw gutta percha collected from rubber trees. Our gutta percha processing is unique as we are the only company to master the technique of injection moulding gutta percha. That is why we have an unusually high consistency and quality of the final products, with less than 1/10 of a millimetre difference from each gutta percha moulding. The Soft-Core® and One-Step™ Endodontic Obturators are manufactured and packed in Denmark under careful quality control, and every single item is visually inspected before packaging.

CMS Dental is based on two business foundations: Manufacturer of patented dental products and importer of dental pharmaceuticals.

We develop, design and manufacture our unique products in our Copenhagen based administration and production facilities. CMS Dental has many years of experience in developing dental products, which throughout the years have been found to be indispensable in dental offices worldwide.

CMS Dental has four core products: Our two endodontic systems Soft-Core® Endodontic Obturator and One-Step™ Obturator, the low level laser DioBeam 830® and the curing and diagnostic light DioPower®:

Endodontic Obturators

The Soft-Core® Endodontic Obturator and One-Step™ Obturator systems are based on a core of biocompatible plastic, sized according to ISO standards, coated with thermoplastic gutta percha. A single obturator is all that is needed to totally obturate a root canal.
The plastic core is tapered, as it becomes larger toward the plastic handle. This conicity ensures that the plastic core is sufficiently flexible to negotiate even very curved canals. The plastic core and gutta percha are radiopaque.
CMS Dental has produced the endodontic obturators since 1995, and the Soft-Core® and One-Step™ system are now sold worldwide through selected distributors.

Technical products

Moreover, CMS Dental also manufactures the curing and diagnostic light DioPower® and the low level laser DioBeam 830®. CMS Dental has many years of experience in low level laser therapy, and has taken an interest in the subject since the mid 80ies. Dentists all over the world are becoming increasingly interested in using low level laser therapy in their daily practice. The DioBeam 830® is specially designed and manufactured to suit dentists.
