Dental root canal filling: CMS Dental focuses on dental root canal filling techniques. A Soft-Core® Endodontic Obturator is a core of biocompatible plastic, sized according to ISO standards sizes 20 to 100, coated with thermoplastic gutta percha. The obturator sizes correspond to the ISO standards of root canal files. The result will always be a perfectly placed dental root canal filling with a tight apical seal.

Endodontic Obturators

The Soft-Core® Endodontic Obturator and One-Step™ Obturator systems are based on a core of biocompatible plastic, sized according to ISO standards, coated with thermoplastic gutta percha. A single obturator is all that is needed to totally obturate a root canal.
The plastic core is tapered, as it becomes larger toward the plastic handle. This conicity ensures that the plastic core is sufficiently flexible to negotiate even very curved canals. The plastic core and gutta percha are radiopaque.
CMS Dental has produced the endodontic obturators since 1995, and the Soft-Core® and One-Step™ system are now sold worldwide through selected distributors.

Technical products

Moreover, CMS Dental also manufactures the curing and diagnostic light DioPower® and the low level laser DioBeam 830®. CMS Dental has many years of experience in low level laser therapy, and has taken an interest in the subject since the mid 80ies. Dentists all over the world are becoming increasingly interested in using low level laser therapy in their daily practice. The DioBeam 830® is specially designed and manufactured to suit dentists.
