 Dr. Nimmi Holstein About FotoSan
"Actually, it is no problem with the individual bacteria’s on the surface of a tooth – the challenge is the ecology in the biofilm on the surface of a tooth, and the infected root canals. The FotoSan treatment destroys the slimy biofilm and leaves the tooth substance effectively and visibly cleaned in a way, which can be seen and felt immediately”.
“ It is a very nice feeling to be able to disinfect root canals using FotoSan. It is not as time consuming as an iodine treatment, and you avoid the risk of iodine discoloration."
“Compared to laser treatments, Elyzol treatments and other antibiotic treatments I think that the FotoSan treatment is a less expensive and effective way to treat infections. Apparently, it also has a haemostatic effect”.
“Antibiotics do not easily penetrate the biofilms of most bacteria, but the FotoSan treatment explodes the biofilm locally so that the individual components can be demolished effectively and without the risk of developing resistance to antibiotics”.

 Dr. Jure Poglajen about FotoSan
"My personal experience with FotoSan is so far limited to a few cases only, but still up till now I have seen advantages only. I have been using FotoSan in periodontics, after scaling and root planning and experienced faster healing with little or less postoperative complications comparing the previous cases where FotoSan had not been used. The most common usage for FotoSan is of course endodontics. I have been using the light after the preparation of the root canal in order to desinfect the canal prior to obturation both with classical or One Step Obturation system. I treated the case with root canal gangrena, using the FotoSan, I managed to silence the symptoms, such as pain and discomfort."

Dr. Lars Roed Andersen about FlashMax
“The Flash Max light has become a indispensable tool in my workday. The short treatment time has made it much easier to make small as well as big composite restorations. The reduced treatment time is in itself an advantage, and it gives me more surplus to spend more time on finishing the composite. It has made it even more gratifying to do composites”.

About SoftCore
Dental Product Review, have conducted a SoftCore user survey in the USA.
Axis Dental SoftCore HD Endodontic Obturator is equivalent to CMS Dental's SoftCore Low Heat (LH) Endodontic Obturator.
The survey was made among 7 dentist who together have 148 years of dental practice. They were either new comers to SoftCore or have been using SoftCore for many years.
The SoftCore LH obturator has a lower meltingpoint and a higher radiopacity. These are some of the most distinctive differences between the LH and the Regular obturator.

Furthermore, with all SoftCore obturators, it is possible to buy size verifiers, which in the survey is mentioned as an important factor.

"I find that obturation by Soft-Core shows a considerable advantage by filling not only the main canal but even getting the gutta percha into lateral canals too. For me, the precise control of obturation in apical 1/3 is one of the factors of the successful treatment."

"As an Endodontics specialist, I have successfully used obturator systems for thermoplastic root canal fillings.
I find the One-Step system to be the most interesting development of the previously known obturator systems. The One-Step Obturators are easy to use. The concept is logical. The use of a self locking tweezers in stead of handles enables you to see where you are going, and makes it easier to fill root canals especially in the molar area. The special designed self-locking tweezers in two different angles makes it possible to reach and obturate all root canals. The system has been properly tested in my clinic".
